Taking direct inspiration from older horror movies such as the classic 1981 Evil Dead, the poster for Couch was a homage to that visual language and campiness of the 80s.

The film's title is a hand-drawn logo taking inspiration from horror films such as Scooby Doo, House, and Friday the 13th Part VI: Jason Lives.
