Smoke Me Out is a short film I worked on as the video and audio editor in 2022. I worked closely with the director of this short film for weeks to ensure their vision was communicated exactly as they wanted it.
The bio reads: “A coming of age film of queer exploration through the intimate relationship between Amani Lee and Renee Charles. As smoke fills the car the two talk of blunt rolling techniques, post-graduation dreams, and parting ways. Tensions rise and Amani never misses the chance to show Renee something new. For this moment, within the car, the two are allowed to forget themselves and be lost in the thought of one another.”
